On Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, the Limburg Open Pickleball will be organised for the 7th time by LTV Melick’s pickleball department.
Around 200 players participate at DUPR rating 3.0 (= novice -3.2), 3.5 (= intermediate 3.2-3.9) or 4.0 (= advance 4.0+). A 2-day tournament where anyone of any level can participate.
It is played on two days at LTV Melick afd. pickleball’s home venue: Sporthal de Wieë, Heerbaan 28, 6061 EE in Posterholt (near Roermond in the Netherlands). The sports hall has 6 badminton courts with correct non-volley lines.
Each day starts at 9 a.m. with a cup of coffee or tea and a lovely piece of Limburg vlaai (regional specialty cake). The ladies‘ doubles (DD) and men’s doubles (MD) are played on Saturday and the mixed doubles (MD) on Sunday. 6 round-robin matches will be played first, followed by knock-out matches. During the matches, there will be lunch and Saturday after the matches there will be a diner for all participants.
